The Evaporative Coolers PROTON USA CORP  are induced draft units with water and air flows in countercurrent. The supporting structure is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester. The heat exchanger tubes can be manufactured according to process requirements in galvanized steel, copper, bronze, or stainless steel. The water recirculation pump is centrifugal, and water spraying is done through polypropylene nozzles with wide orifices to prevent clogging. The droplet eliminator is made of PVC in a three-step labyrinth design. The fan is axial type with adjustable pitch blades, directly coupled to the motor in small sizes, belt-driven in medium sizes, and gearbox-driven in large sizes.
